Wondering
"Where-'n-'Ell"
to get great parts for your outboard?
Right
Here!
I'm Restoring A 1955 Merc MK55
Sandcast
Meet the MasterTech!
If your Mfgr. says:
That motor's 7 years old.
Part is no longer available.
We lose $$ on service!
EPA made me do it!
Parts at central warehouse, you'll get them next month.
We don't make parts for those.
We only do warranty work.
Our techs only fix late models.
No clue what's wrong! So we'll work time & material.

UNIVERSAL FLYWHEEL PULLER #781
NEVER disassemble or try to pull ANY outboard
flywheel with a gear puller! The 40HP OMC flywheel in the picture
above looks solid, but it (and most all outboard flywheels) acts
as the motors' harmonic balancer. You will cause it to fail from
imbalance or just plain break the flexplate. The puller shown above
will allow proper removal of all flywheels with 3 bolts near the
crankshaft. Includes crankshaft protector. You may have to get the
proper bolts for your application locally. Be sure to get grade 8,
the ones with 6 radial lines on the head.
Price: $85.00 plus $8.75 postage and handling.
