NOTE: Please look for the carb MODEL SERIES stamped on the carb (usually on the mounting flange).
Some motors had multiple carb models in a given year (e.g. TC-111C, WB-26A, WE4-2, etc.) so please examine your carb for the model number, usually stamped on or near the mounting flange.

The model year is encoded in the model number e.g. 504H8C would indicate a 1988 50 HP motor. After about 1991 when Mercury acquired Force they went to using serial numbers instead, in the format "0Exxxxxx" where "x" is a number e.g. "0E123456"

Floats Do Not Come In Carb Kits, Order Separately If Needed;
However, they rarely need replacing.
